FAQs

Who is x2artist.com?

Here, at x2artist.com, we are a small group of digital artists that have a deep passion for the graphic arts. Some of us are are excellent logo designers while some other team members are creative 3D artists. Our goal is to pull together talented and experienced artists that have strengths encompassing all forms of digital art & design.

x2artist is a website-only company that delivers digital content (graphics, tools, etc) to digital artists.

The purpose behind the name holds meaning and jargon. In the digital world, the power of two (2) is symbolically rooted.
The power of two (2) defines all digital creations one way or another.

2 x 2 = 4 x 2 = 8 x 2 = 16 x 2 = 32 x 2 = 64 x 2 = 128 x 2 = 256 x 2 = 512 x 2 = 1024 x 2 = 2048 x 2 = 4096

How does the membership system work?

We want to give our visitors the best service possible. Some artists don't care or need to subscribe to content, so we have a program setup for individual purchase. Returning clients, however, are likely going to benefit by enrolling for a membership that is good for a full year. There are three levels of membership x2artist.com currently offer:

  • Complimentary
    • The free membership that offers minimal content and is great for the entry level artist looking to get his/her feet wet.
  • Premium
    • This subscription level is for the artist that is simply needing high-quality graphics with minimal and zero time-wasting effort.
  • Developer
    • The highest membership, The Developer gives the highest quality graphics x2artist.com can offer while injecting any/all master file(s) used to create the content (note: not all downloads will contain a master file).

What should I expect to see in my downloaded file?

This depends entirely on the subscription. All files first come in a .zip file and will have varying content based on the membership level. In the example of the "Textures" category, most downloaded .zip files will contain the following:

  • Complimentary
    • 1024px x 1024px shader files in .jpg and .tif file formats (NOT for commercial use).
    • A copyright text file outlining the rights of x2artist.com and the rights of the client purchasing the content.
    • A single image thumbnail of the texture.
  • Premium
    • 2048px x 2048px shader files in .jpg and .tif file formats (Commercial free).
    • A copyright text file outlining the rights of x2artist.com and the rights of the client purchasing the content.
    • A single image thumbnail of the texture.
  • Developer
    • 4096px x 4096px shader files in .jpg and .tif file formats (Commercial free).
    • A copyright text file outlining the rights of x2artist.com and the rights of the client purchasing the content.
    • A single image thumbnail of the texture.
    • Any master file(s) used to create the purchased content (note: not all downloads will contain a master file).
